The Administrative Assistant works closely with and under the direction of the Office Manager. This position provides day-to-day administrative support functions to The Battery Atlanta management staff, oversees timely response to internal and external inquiries, providing the utmost in customer service. Independently performs work of a regular and recurring nature and a variety of other office tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.


The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Greet office visitors as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
  • Receive calls, take messages and route correspondence; ability to respond to customer, retailer, and partner inquiries and advise on the appropriate resolution
  • Responsible for receiving and sorting incoming mail and packages to distribute to other departments or individuals
  • Create and manage both digital and hard copy filing systems for all partners
  • Aids office team with scheduling and coordinating meetings or interview logistics, handles special functions that require catering, décor or special set-up
  • Assists with key card access control and system maintenance
  • Employee manages work order system, ensures the timely and accurate creation, dissemination and documentation of work orders
  • Basic accounting work as needed, prepare Purchase Orders, responsible to record all checks received in the office, contacts tenants on past due accounts and tenant's sales
  • Assist with general office administrative tasks such as ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment, prepare documents for scanning, copying and collating, preparation of customer complaint responses, provide updates of Company Policies and Procedures and Human Resources administration as needed
  • Provides support and assistance to other departments as requested, participates in team meetings and ensures compliance with all property management policies and procedures
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a general administrative or assistant role
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Professional presence with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and cultivate positive relationships in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Must complete a successful Criminal and Credit background check
