Assists in the day to day Ticket Operations of the Atlanta Braves and SunTrust Park, with emphasis on ticket order processing, distribution, and reporting.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing daily tasks of creating accounts, processing payments, printing & shipping ticket orders from Ticket Sales & Service and Corporate Partnerships.
  • Work with Ticket Fulfillment Specialists to coordinate ticket packages to be mailed via USPS or from a shipping company.
  • Process exchanges from A List Members, as well as internal requests from staff by monitoring multiple email inboxes.
  • Help ensure that all monies from Hope & Will's Sandlot games and Game Day Activities are counted and reported accurately by working with other members of the Ticket Operations staff.
  • Serve as liaison between Client Services and Ticket Operations Department to assist guests with ticketing situations that arise during the day and during games.  Maintain constant communication with members of Client Services and Ticket Sales staff to ensure that accounts are processed and delivered in the timeframe expected.
  • Ensure that all Gameday staff has updated information pertaining to game discounts, promotions and Theme Nights. Assist ticket sellers when situations arise during a game.  Serve as ticket seller and will call attendant when needed.  Assist with balancing of Ticket Sellers on a daily basis.
  • Perform the following Game Day duties: assist with supervising ticket sellers and will call staff, balance money collected from day of game and Hope & Will's Sandlot sales, assist Client Services department with ticket situations and exchanges, and process payments for Atlanta Braves Foundation silent auctions.
  • Assist in all other capacities within the Ticket Operations department, including off-site ticket selling events, training of Gameday staff on Ticketmaster software products, vault duties, and employee ticket programs.
  • Contribute as a team member to the overall success of the Atlanta Braves Ticket Operations Department.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business or a related field
  • 1 year experience required in the area of computerized ticketing or a related field
  • Proactive, organized and detail oriented person who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be a team player, who cares about the team's work and success
  • Archtics and Ticketmaster (HOST) ticketing systems, Access Manager (FanTM) bar coding system preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (particularly Excel)
  • Able to work long hours, overtime, weekends and occasional holidays
  • Must complete a successful Criminal and Credit background check
