Corporate Partnerships Sales Trainee

 

Position description includes but is not limited to:

  • Assist the Corporate Partnership department in all areas including sales support
  • Drafting PowerPoint sales proposals
  • Conducting background research on prospective sponsors
  • Providing daily news clips on all sponsors
  • Utilize Scarborough software to support sales proposals
  • Utilize Repucom and Nielsen subscriber content to keep sales team informed of impressions and trends
  • Monitor sponsorship activity with other properties and provide reports to sales team - monitoring to be done in-person and via radio and TV broadcasts
  • Assist VP of Corporate Partnerships with special projects as assigned
  • Assist Partnerships Service Team in coordinating VIP field visits, first pitch ceremonies, hospitality parties, clinics, and other sponsor special events

 

In addition to the general requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • College degree with an emphasis on Business, Marketing and/or Sports Management
  • Experience in sponsorship sales/activation via college athletic department or with another sports team or agency is desirable 
  • Outgoing personality and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and handle multiple projects at one time
  • Must be able to work weekends and nights as assigned
