Braves Foundation Trainee


Position description includes but is not limited to:

  • Assist with processing in-kind donations, department mail, and game entertainment requests
  • Manage Commissioners Initiative Tickets/Reach Out, Be Our Guest ticket donation program
  • Manage in-game matrix message program (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) and VIP experiences
  • Coordinate nightly game and online auctions
  • Manage 50/50 Raffle paperwork
  • Assist with the SunTrust Park Brick Pavers program
  • Maintaining various databases and spreadsheets
  • Assist with the preparations of the grants applications and Board Meetings
  • Assist with the planning and execution of Braves Foundation initiatives including Community Heroes Week, Foundation Sales, and other fundraisers
  • Maintain inventory for all memorabilia
  • Assist with Braves Community Affairs game day initiatives and Braves youth baseball events as needed


In addition to the general requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior fundraising, non-profit or event planning experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative-thinking skills
  • Experience analyzing/interpreting data a plus
  • Passion to work in the sports industry and with non-profits
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and maintain organization
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work well with others
