A successful candidate will have office management and operations experience, a proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically with Power Point and Excel; must be a detail oriented self-starter able to follow instructions with minimal supervision; must be flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task efficiently; excellent written & verbal communication skills; superb organization skills necessary; professional demeanor and presence required; must be customer service oriented;  working experience in any of the following operations is a plus:  property or facility management, engineering, building maintenance, real estate, architecture and or construction.  This position is hourly and eligible for over-time; the schedule will fluctuate based on business need: during the off-season, the hours will usually be Monday – Friday, 7:30a – 4p; during the baseball season, the hours will be based on game start times; some evening and/or weekend hours are required throughout the year depending on department's workload and project schedule. 


SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDES, but is not limited to:

  • Oversight, management & distribution of property's event schedules
  • Oversee front office break room (coffee/water) & copier supply inventory
  • Oversee front office meeting area refreshment inventory
  • Front office mail room management assistance & back-up support as needed
  • Dock management assistance and back-up support as needed
  • Attend weekly event meetings (approximately 3 meetings/week)
  • Monthly building audit checks
  • Administrative assistance support of Shipping & Receiving and Groundskeeping, if needed
  • Assist Engineering Management with building escorts & deliveries
  • Work Order Control record tracking and data entry
  • Oversight of front office request for services communications
  • Pre-event and post-event space inspections
  • New vendor set-up and processing
  • Department contracts management
  • Monthly utilities tracking and reporting
  • MLB initiatives management (ex: recycling tracking and reporting)
  • Project Administration assistance, such as budgets, purchase order & invoice processing, schedules, etc.
  • Provide back-up administrative support functions and tasks as assigned


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • College degree or 4+ consecutive years business office operations experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with office operations in property/facility management, engineering, building maintenance, real estate, architecture and/or construction
  • Cheerful and friendly disposition with a willingness to assist above and beyond job responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful or demanding situations
  • An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds in all levels within the company
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • An interest and understanding of professional baseball
  • Position is physically active and will require frequent walks about the property
  • Criminal and Credit background check required prior to official hire date
